Immediate Openings Pay:

$25-$32/hour (Based on Experience and shift)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays)

5:30AM-4:00PM or 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

40-60 hours per week

ASAP Job Responsibilities As a Shop Welder/Fabricator, you'll fabricate and assemble structural steel components while maintaining high-quality workmanship and meeting production schedules.

Responsibilities include:

Heavy Flux Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel (This is the primary welding process used.). 1G & 3G

GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding as needed

Read and interpret blueprints, structural steel drawings, and weld symbols

Layout, fit-up, and fabricate structural steel

Weld beams, columns, braces, base plates, gussets, stiffeners, and other structural components

Operate plasma cutters, oxy-fuel torches, grinders, and fabrication equipment

Safely operate overhead cranes and hoists

Perform quality inspections on completed welds

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE

✔ 5+ years of structural steel fabrication experience ✔ Extensive Flux Core (FCAW) welding experience (Candidates must be highly proficient with Flux Core welding.) ✔ Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols ✔ Experience fitting and fabricating structural steel ✔ Experience operating overhead cranes ✔ Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship ✔ Reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Welding certifications

Sheet metal fabrication experience

Experience with GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG)

Machine fabrication experience

High School Diploma or GED Requirements Eligible to work in the United States

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Able to pass a background check

Dependable with a strong work ethic
