5 Star Sheet Metal LLC is looking for a dedicated and motivated Duct Work Fabricator. The Duct work Fabricator will work with our team to assist in the fabrication of ductwork for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the requirements of each project.
• Assist with the layout, measuring, and marking of sheet metal materials using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Support the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, including ductwork and fittings
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of existing sheet metal equipment as needed.
• Handle and transport sheet metal materials, equipment, and tools safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize workplace accidents and hazards. Collaborate effectively with team members and customers. Clear communication with customers

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent communication skills with customer and team members.
• Experience making ductwork preferred including use of a coil line, plasma table, roll former, etc and manually laying out fittings. -Experience installing ductwork (Residential, Commercial and Industrial) preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently or as part of a team to accomplish project objectives
• Must be able to independently lift, pull, push and pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn
• Highly reliable and punctual
