Full-Time | 6:00 AM or 7:00AM Start Times Pay:
$30 to $36 + Overtime Available Job Overview We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team on commercial construction projects throughout New York City and Long Island. This role involves installing HVAC ductwork systems, roof-top equipment, exhaust systems, and related sheet metal components while working alongside other trades in active construction environments. Responsibilities Install square, rectangular, and spiral ductwork systems Install supply, return, and exhaust duct systems Install roof top units (RTUs), exhaust fans, and associated ductwork Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and cut sheets Measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal components Install hangers, supports, and equipment related to HVAC systems Perform duct modifications and field fabrication as needed Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work efficiently with foremen, project managers, and other trades Requirements 3+ years of sheet metal or HVAC installation experience Experience installing: Square duct Spiral duct Exhaust duct systems Supply and return air systems Roof top units and exhaust fans Ability to read and follow blueprints and drawings Familiarity with sheet metal tools and equipment Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices OSHA 30 required SST 10 required Reliable transportation preferred Must arrive on time and ready to work each day Preferred Qualifications Experience on large commercial construction projects High-rise, hospital, school, data center, or mixed-use construction experience Ability to work independently and alongside a crew Ability to coordinate with other trades and maintain productivity Benefits Steady, Long-Term Work Overtime Opportunities Competitive Pay Career Growth Opportunities Opportunity for Permanent Employment Consistent Project Pipeline Safe and Professional Work Environment Work Environment Commercial construction projects throughout NYC and Long Island 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM start times Indoor and outdoor work environments Active construction sites with multiple trades Must wear full PPE and follow all site safety requirements Opportunity for overtime and long-term career growth Apply today if you're an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic looking for steady work, competitive pay, and long-term opportunities throughout New York City and Long Island.
