$25 - $35/hr (DOE) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Aviation Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing aircraft structural repairs, modifications, and fabrication of sheet metal components in accordance with FAA regulations, engineering drawings, and company standards. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced aviation maintenance environment. Text Jay @ 850 208 6567 Responsibilities Perform aircraft structural repairs, modifications, and installations on various aircraft platforms. Fabricate, fit, and install sheet metal components, assemblies, and structures. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals. Measure, cut, bend, drill, and form sheet metal parts to required specifications. Install rivets, fasteners, doublers, brackets, and other structural components. Conduct inspections to ensure repairs and installations meet quality and safety standards. Remove and replace damaged aircraft structural components. Utilize hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation. Adhere to all FAA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. Work collaboratively with maintenance teams, inspectors, and engineering personnel. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous aircraft sheet metal or structural repair experience required. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and aircraft maintenance manuals. Experience with drilling, riveting, cutting, and fabricating aircraft components. Familiarity with FAA regulations and aviation maintenance practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing. Preferred Qualifications FAA Airframe (A&P preferred but not required). Experience working on military, commercial, or rotary-wing aircraft. Aircraft structural modification and heavy maintenance experience. Familiarity with aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and composite materials. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
