The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various fabrication processes, including working with sheet metal fabrication machinery, reading work orders and fabrication drawings, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Interpret and work from job work orders and technical layout/fabrication drawings. Utilize corrugated sheers, rolls, and riveters to fabricate and assemble grain aeration components. Conduct measurements/calculations using tape measures and simple mathematical principles. Operate forklifts safely for material handling. Perform sheet metal/structural steel fabrication projects when required. Must have the capability to lift 50-60 Lbs. Count and document department inventory for management. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred. Proven experience in a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate fabrication equipment effectively. Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience with fabrication processes is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
