We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fabricator to join our team and help us build exceptional products for our customers.
Job Description:
We are searching for a Senior Fabricator who is motivated and excited by a high level of craftsmanship, and building challenging new products. The ideal candidate will have experience in the signage or architectural elements industry and bring hands-on expertise in carpentry, metal fabrication, and assembly. Skills such as welding, metal bending, decal application, and electrical knowledge are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate signage components using wood, metal, plastics, and other materials as required. Execute precision metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, grinding, welding, and bending. Perform light electrical work including wiring for LED systems and basic power integration. Build and assemble signage structures from technical drawings and blueprints. Operate machinery such as CNC routers, brakes, shears, welders, and other fabrication tools. Apply vinyl graphics and decals with high precision. Assist in the bending and assembly of channel letters (manual or automated equipment). Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality and accuracy. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior fabricators when required. Troubleshoot and solve fabrication or assembly issues live, and document solutions for engineers to implement.
Skills and Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in carpentry and metal fabrication techniques. Working knowledge of light electrical wiring and safe practices. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and working in various physical conditions. Signage Experience Preferred, especially regarding: Channel Letter fabrication (bending, LED/Neon Integration) MIG/TIG Welding Vinyl decal application and removal CNC Router operating Familiarity with UL standards for signage
