Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30
PM Pay:
$16.00 Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking HVAC Duct Fabricator to join our shop team. This position will fabricate, assemble, and prepare HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components for installation. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components according to measurements, drawings, and job specifications. Measure, mark, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal and ductwork. Build duct fittings including elbows, transitions, offsets, dampers, and plenums. Operate hand tools, power tools, brakes, shears, plasma cutters, and other shop equipment. Install duct liner, insulation, sealants, fasteners, and other materials as needed. Inspect completed ductwork for accuracy, quality, and proper fit. Prepare, label, organize, and load completed ductwork for delivery to job sites. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Assist with other shop and fabrication duties as needed. Qualifications HVAC, sheet metal, duct fabrication, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic measurements. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and follow drawings and instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to safely lift and move ductwork and materials. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work for extended periods. Ability to lift and maneuver ductwork and materials. Ability to work safely around machinery, sharp sheet metal, noise, and typical shop conditions.
