ColonialWebb is searching for a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our growing construction team! You will fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal on our special projects division.

Competitive pay range of $21/hr - $35/hr Career development and progression 401(k) plan with company match PTO and paid holidays Excellent medical, dental, life, vision and disability benefits Employee Assistance Program Employee referral incentives A day in the life: Mechanics will layout, fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products and other related equipment associated with commercial HVAC equipment and related mechanical systems (ductwork, plenums, fire dampers, and diffusers, air handling units, VAV boxes, fan power boxes) on large commercial and industrial construction projects Typical construction projects include hospitals, data centers, high-rises, universities, secondary schools, and government facilities You should have: Work experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic for commercial construction projects. (Journeyman level experience is preferred, license not required) Experience with layouts and ability to read and work from drawings Ability to direct the work of a helper or apprentice Safety-minded and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter Knowledge of basic construction/shop math Knowledge of International Mechanical Code (IMC) and Sheet Metal and Air Contractors National Association (SMACNA) standards Apply online: www.
