Always aware of the importance of the customer experience and quality installation, we cover every step and make sure our customers are pleased. Position Overview ESP is currently looking for a productive individual who can be a good fit as our Field Technician. The key duty of the Field Technician is warranty work including troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting faulty solar systems. This position will involve traveling across specific regions to visit assigned job sites and perform tasks as needed. Permit inspections, site surveys, and permit running may also be required in this position.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot/diagnose/repair of common solar failures Respond to assignments in a timely manner and update the database Demonstrate knowledge of the solar industry and the procedures Communicate progress of resolutions to customers and internal team members Complete roof leak investigations Host inspections by meeting city inspector Install ladder at proper location of building for city inspector Open electrical equipment for inspection (inverter, ac disconnects, etc.) Prepare and fix any issues on-site prior to inspection Find solutions and repair corrections issued through City Driving will be required for travel between job sites Company vehicle will be considered for the right candidate Maintain a clean and acceptable driving record on and off the job
Qualifications:
Installation of solar panels Installation of inverter(s) Installation of optimizers or micro inverters Electrical wiring (DC & AC) Experience with piping & bending Punctuality Team player Self-driven; must be efficient while working independently. Comfortable and successful with daily schedules and deadlines Computer-savvy - must be able to use and navigate through Word and Excel docs Must possess a Valid drivers license, be 21 or older, and a passable background check Physical demands and abilities: Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly Regularly Drive Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds Benefits Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance will be offered at the end of a 60-day wait period
