In this role, you will provide service, maintenance, and installation support for residential and light commercial solar and energy products while delivering a professional experience to every customer. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, working outdoors, and providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you! What You'll Do Perform service and maintenance calls for solar and other energy products. Support the installation of residential solar systems, storage batteries, and related energy equipment. Install bird guard netting and operate solar panel cleaning equipment. Diagnose and assist with resolving service-related issues. Communicate professionally with customers and explain work performed and any recommended follow-up services. Complete work orders accurately and promptly using company systems and mobile technology. Arrive on time for scheduled customer appointments and communicate any delays or scheduling concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle. Maintain and properly use company-provided tools, equipment, uniforms, and PPE. Clean and organize the worksite after completing each service. Collect and process customer payments when applicable. Prepare warranty tags and parts packets as needed. Complete required OSHA, manufacturer, and electrical certification training. Assist with inventory, warehouse organization, vehicle maintenance, and other department needs. Communicate effectively with managers and team members through phone, text, email, and other company communication tools. Identify customer needs, upgrade opportunities, and additional services when appropriate. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in the solar and/or generator industry preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable using computers, tablets, mobile devices, email, internet portals, and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities. Professional appearance and customer-service mindset. Clean DMV record that meets company insurance requirements. Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures. Physical & Work Environment This is an active, hands-on position that requires the ability to: Work outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions. Safely work at heights and on residential rooftops. Climb and work from ladders and stairs. Frequently bend, stretch, and move around job sites. Use hand and power tools proficiently. Regularly lift up to 60 lbs. and frequently assist with lifting up to 100 lbs. Safely operate company vans and trucks. Work in small or confined areas when necessary. Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
