Job Description

GRID Alternatives' SolarCorps AmeriCorps Fellowship Program is an opportunity for highly motivated and enthusiastic community members to join GRID Alternatives for an 11-month paid service term. In this position, members will gain valuable experience in the renewable energy and non-profit industries while making significant contributions to communities most impacted by environmental and economic injustice!

Member Duties :

SolarCorps Installation & Maintenance fellows will serve as environmental stewards directly on GRID's low income solar installation projects, contributing to 1,500 housing units or structures being weatherized or retrofitted; program goal is that 80% of these projects will show a reduction in grid energy consumption by a minimum of 60%,
