Job Description

Build Opportunity. iLLUMi-SOL Construction Services Corp. is a growing residential construction and home-services company specializing in accessory dwelling units, garage conversions, residential remodeling, electrical services and professional assembly installations. We are seeking a reliable and versatile Construction Installer with at least two years of hands-on construction, remodeling or installation experience. This is not a general cleanup-only position. The Construction Installer will work alongside experienced field leaders on ADUs, residential remodels, sheds, gazebos and home-service projects. The ideal candidate can use tools safely, follow plans and manufacturer instructions, work productively as part of a crew and complete assignments without constant supervision. Employees who demonstrate strong performance may qualify for additional company certifications, project incentives and advancement into specialized installer or field-lead positions. Primary Responsibilities Assist with accessory dwelling unit, garage-conversion and residential remodeling projects Perform demolition, framing, sheathing, blocking and general construction work Assemble sheds, gazebos, outdoor structures, cabinets, fixtures and other manufacturer-designed products Assist with installation of doors, windows, drywall, trim and finish materials Measure, cut, drill, fasten, level, square and assemble construction materials accurately Read and follow plans, diagrams, measurements and manufacturer instructions Prepare tools, materials and work areas for field leaders and skilled trades Assist qualified electrical personnel with authorized construction-support activities Load, unload, secure and organize tools and construction materials Maintain clean, safe and organized jobsites Protect customer property and maintain professional jobsite conduct Communicate clearly with supervisors, coworkers and customers Complete daily assignments within company quality and production standards Submit required job updates, photographs and completion information Follow company vehicle, safety and operating procedures Required Qualifications Minimum two years of construction, remodeling, framing, assembly or related field experience Experience using hand tools, drills, saws, levels, ladders and standard construction equipment Ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate cuts and layouts Ability to follow written plans, diagrams and installation instructions Ability to work productively with limited supervision Strong attendance, reliability and work ethic Professional communication and customer-service skills Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing 70 pounds or more Ability to work outdoors, on ladders, in attics and in varying weather conditions Valid California driver's license Driving record that meets company vehicle-insurance requirements Ability to report to Moreno Valley and travel to projects throughout the Inland Empire Zero driving under the influence convictions DUI No disqualifying moving violations under company insurance standards Preferred Experience Priority consideration may be given to applicants with experience in: Residential wood framing Shed and gazebo assembly Outdoor structure installation Door and window installation Drywall and finish carpentry Roofing and weatherproofing Cabinet and fixture installation Concrete forms and foundation work Residential electrical construction Plumbing or HVAC construction support Reading residential construction plans Training or directing construction helpers Assembly and Outdoor Structure Certification Qualified employees may complete the iLLUMi-SOL Shed & Gazebo Installer Certification.
