Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our solar, battery, electrical, generator, and plumbing projects by coordinating inspections, assisting with permits, measuring sites, and providing hands-on installation support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of troubleshooting systems to ensure smooth project execution and operational efficiency. Duties Wait for inspectors to complete inspections across various systems including solar, battery, electrical, generator, and plumbing work. Assist with the application process for permits necessary for project approvals. Measure sites accurately to support planning and installation activities. Provide hands-on support during project installations when needed to ensure timely completion. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to facilitate efficient project workflows. Troubleshoot solar systems and related equipment to identify issues and support resolution efforts. Support the team in various field-related tasks to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project specifications. Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Basic knowledge of solar energy systems, electrical work, plumbing, and generators is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to solar systems and other equipment. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with inspectors, team members, and vendors. Physical ability to measure sites accurately and assist with installation activities. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic field environment. Reliable presence during inspection periods and proactive problem-solving attitude.
