Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Solar Service & Reinstall Technician with extensive knowledge of residential solar systems, battery storage, and electrical troubleshooting. This role focuses on servicing existing systems, completing removals and reinstalls for reroof projects, diagnosing production issues, performing electrical upgrades, and commissioning battery storage systems. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential solar PV systems Complete solar removals and reinstalls for reroof projects Troubleshoot inverter, optimizer, communication, and production issues Perform corrective work and warranty repairs Replace inverters, optimizers, modules, disconnects, breakers, and electrical components Install, commission, troubleshoot, and service residential battery storage systems Complete Main Service Panel (MSP) replacements and Main Panel Upgrades (MPU) Install EV chargers when applicable Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams and construction plans Perform conduit bending, wire management, and electrical terminations Verify proper system operation after repairs and reinstalls Document completed work with detailed notes and photos Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of residential solar service, corrective work, or reinstall experience Strong electrical troubleshooting skills Proven experience installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing residential battery storage systems Ability to diagnose and repair systems independently Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders Ability to lift 50+ lbs Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Required Certifications Applicants must possess the following active certifications: SolarEdge Certified Installer Enphase Installer Certification Applications without both certifications will not be considered. Preferred Qualifications Experience with any of the following is highly preferred: Tesla Powerwall & Gateway LG Energy Storage Systems SPAN Smart Panels Main Service Panel (MSP) replacements Main Panel Upgrades (MPU) EV charger installations Residential electrical work
