In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing photovoltaic (solar) systems on residential and commercial rooftops and ground-mounted sites. Your expertise will help harness the power of the sun, contributing to a cleaner, sustainable future. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize your electrical and construction skills, and be part of a forward-thinking industry committed to innovation and environmental impact. Responsibilities Install photovoltaic solar systems according to blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings, ensuring precise placement and secure mounting of panels and equipment Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate system assembly and troubleshooting Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety equipment to perform installations efficiently on rooftops or ground sites Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot issues related to high voltage, low voltage, and photovoltaic systems to ensure optimal performance Perform roofing work as needed for rooftop installations, ensuring waterproofing and structural integrity are maintained Adhere to outdoor work safety protocols while working in various weather conditions on construction sites or renewable energy projects Skills Construction site experience including roofing, framing, or general construction work is highly desirable Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and fixture installation techniques for outdoor renewable energy projects Knowledge of electrical safety procedures specific to outdoor environments and working at heights This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute their technical skills in a fast-growing industry.
