Job Description

Are you interested in being part of the renewable energy and solar growth business? CMI Solar & Electric is growing rapidly and is looking for full-time Solar Technicians.
Responsibilities:
Install attachments, racking, solar modules, inverters, and optimizers. Knowledge of AC & DC including trouble shooting, wiring and assembly. Able to read and interpret plan drawings Ensure solar arrays meet company standard job specifications, the National Electrical Code, and other relevant local codes Assist in job safety and overall crew support including staging materials, general site work support, as well as site preparation and clean up Keep service van stocked and serviced properly Coordinate and communicate with inspectors on projects Correspond professionally with homeowners Provide regular updates of job status, complete necessary paperwork and photos Work independently in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Exemplary customer service skills Ability to troubleshoot projects Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Must be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly, climb ladders, and work on sloped roofs in all weather conditions, and stand for at least two hours. Prior experience working on roofs- no fear of heights Must have a valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug test Preferred Experience Residential solar installation experience preferred OSHA 10 Certified Preferred Project coordination experience preferred
