Seasonal Christmas Lighting Installer Lightscape Design | Bartow, FL Seasonal | $20-$30/hour + Overtime Lightscape Design is hiring Seasonal Christmas Lighting Installers for our upcoming holiday lighting season. This is a great opportunity for dependable, hard-working people who are comfortable working outdoors, climbing ladders, walking roofs, and putting in long days during a busy season. We are hiring both Helpers and Lead Installers , with pay based on experience. Pay $20-$30 per hour , depending on experience and position. Helper / entry-level installer positions start toward the lower end of the range. Experienced Christmas lighting installers and qualified lead installers may earn toward the top of the range. https://bit.ly/4ha4DnT Seasonal Schedule Our installation season runs approximately: Mid-October through mid-December Holiday light takedowns begin: January 3 through mid-to-late January Typical workdays begin around 7:00 AM at our Bartow location. Installers typically work approximately 40-50 hours per week , depending on workload and weather. Some Saturdays, evenings, and nighttime work will be required. We do not normally work Sundays. Because this is seasonal work, we need team members who understand that the weeks leading up to Christmas are busy and that flexibility is important. What You'll Be Doing You will work with our installation crews to professionally install Christmas and holiday lighting on residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities may include:

Installing professional Christmas lights on homes and businesses Working from extension ladders up to and beyond 32 feet Walking and working safely on residential and commercial roofs Installing roofline lighting, trees, landscaping lights, wreaths, garland, and other holiday décor Running extension cords and electrical connections Troubleshooting and repairing lighting displays Loading and unloading company vehicles and equipment Keeping job sites, trucks, and equipment organized Removing and carefully packing holiday lighting during January takedowns Working efficiently as part of a crew to complete jobs on schedule Who We're Looking For Previous Christmas lighting experience is a major plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person if you already have relevant experience working with ladders, roofs, construction, roofing, exterior trades, or similar physical work. You MUST have experience using extension ladders and be comfortable working at heights. This job may be an especially good fit for people with experience in: Roofing Construction Electrical work Landscaping Exterior maintenance Pressure washing Tree work Sign installation Other trades involving ladders and roofs Firefighters and first responders are also encouraged to apply. We may be able to work around rotating shift schedules for qualified candidates.

Requirements Applicants must:

Be at least 18 years old Have previous experience safely using extension ladders Be comfortable working on 32'+ ladders Be comfortable walking and working on roofs Have a valid driver's license Have a clean driving record Be able to drive company vehicles when required Be able to work outdoors for extended periods Be dependable and show up on time Be willing to work overtime during peak season Be available for some Saturdays and occasional evening/night work Be able to pass required background and drug screening Lightscape Design is a drug-free workplace.
