Responsibilities:
  • Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops
  • Lead a crew to complete a solar installation
  • Correctly measure the roof and layout the solar system
  • Conduct site assessments and understand engineered plans
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient installation processes
  • Test and troubleshoot solar systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the installation process
Skills and Physical Requirements:
  • At least two years of solar lead experience
  • Ability to comfortably lift 35 pounds repeatedly and overhead
  • Must be able to work on one and two-story roofs
  • Climbing ladders, prolonged periods of kneeling or crouching
  • Ability to read building plans
  • Ability to use hand and power tools to install solar panels
