Compensation:

Prevailing wage Unity Solar Group is hiring experienced Commercial Solar Installers + Foremans for a prevailing wage project in Cicero, Illinois. This is a contract opportunity expected to last approximately three months. Prior commercial solar installation experience is required. This is not an entry-level or training position. Please do not apply if you do not have hands-on commercial solar installation experience. Residential-only experience does not meet this requirement. Responsibilities Install solar modules, racking, and mounting components according to project plans. Read and follow installation drawings, layouts, and instructions. Safely use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment. Assist with material handling, staging, and jobsite organization. Work closely with the foreman and installation team to meet project deadlines. Follow site safety procedures and maintain quality workmanship. Identify and promptly report installation issues or safety concerns. Requirements Previous hands-on experience installing commercial solar systems . Working knowledge of solar modules, racking systems, and installation methods. Ability to follow plans and work efficiently with a construction crew. Ability to perform physical installation work outdoors and at heights, as required, with or without reasonable accommodation. Reliable transportation to the Cicero jobsite. Dependability, punctuality, and availability for the anticipated project duration. Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality. Interview Process Qualified candidates will participate in 2-3 rounds of interviews , including a review of their commercial solar installation experience and technical knowledge.
