The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing residential solar systems and be familiar with current NEC standards and industry best practices. NABCEP certification is preferred but not required—we welcome experienced installers from all backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Install residential solar PV systems, including racking, modules, and related components Safely mount and secure equipment on rooftops (asphalt shingle, flat roofs, etc.) Assist with electrical prep work: conduit runs, wire management, inverter mounting (in coordination with licensed electricians) Interpret installation plans, layouts, and one-line diagrams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Requirements:
2+ years of residential solar installation experience Comfortable working at heights and on various roof types OSHA 10 certification minimum (OSHA 30 preferred) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
NABCEP PV
Installation Professional or Associate Certification Experience installing battery storage systems (e.g., Enphase, Tesla) Basic electrical knowledge or apprenticeship experience
