3003319548-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Lamar Advertising Company is seeking an Outdoor Construction Installer to build, install, and maintain billboard and outdoor advertising structures for our telecommunications and media clients. In this field-based role, you will work at heights using trucks, lifts, and power tools to install frames, faces, lighting, and hardware according to plans and engineering specifications. You'll inspect structures, perform repairs, and ensure strict compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and remove outdoor advertising structures and billboards following engineering specs and safety standards Operate trucks, lifts, cranes, and power tools to complete installations at heights and in varying weather conditions Read and interpret work orders, site plans, and diagrams to ensure accurate placement and alignment of structures Perform structural inspections, minor repairs, and routine maintenance on frames, lighting, and hardware Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies, including use of fall protection and PPECoordinate with operations, sales, and local teams to schedule work and minimize customer disruption Load, secure, and transport materials, hardware, and tools to and from job sites Document completed work with photos and basic reports using mobile or computer-based systems Communicate clearly with supervisors about site conditions, delays, or safety concerns Support emergency or rush installs for time-sensitive advertising campaigns as needed Required Skills Billboard or sign installation General construction and carpentry Working at heights and fall protection Aerial lift and bucket truck operation CDL or commercial driving skills Basic electrical/lighting troubleshooting Blueprints and site plan reading Rigging and material handling Power tools and hand tools operation Jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
