- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal panel placement and ensure structural integrity of the roof.
- Install electrical wiring and equipment necessary for solar panel systems.
- Connect solar panels to electrical systems, inverters, and batteries.
- Test and troubleshoot solar panel systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Provide maintenance and repair services for existing solar panel installations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and with electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. ```Requirements```
- Previous experience as a Solar Installer or in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including both high voltage and low voltage wiring.
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in solar panel installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
