Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and experience with solar panel installation. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that solar systems are installed efficiently and safely while adhering to all relevant codes and regulations. Responsibilities Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground mounts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation. Work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with NEC standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively during installations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Assist in fixture installation, plumbing tasks, and other construction-related duties as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Experience Familiarity with roofing techniques and safety protocols. Experience reading schematics and blueprints related to electrical installations. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, etc safely on job sites. Previous experience in solar installation is preferred but not required.
