Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contracting & Remodeling Specialist to lead and execute a wide range of construction, renovation, and remodeling projects. Duties Manage and oversee all phases of contracting and remodeling projects, from planning through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints to accurately execute project specifications. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate smooth project workflows. Conduct construction inspections to verify quality standards, safety compliance, and adherence to building codes. Perform installation of building materials including drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, trim carpentry, and window or door units. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently during various phases of construction. Execute hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces. Interpret technical drawings for electrical systems, plumbing installations, plastering, caulking, and other specialized tasks. Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, inspection logs, and safety records. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in remodeling and building projects. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, site inspection procedures, and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with carpentry (including trim carpentry), drywall installation, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinet setup, and window installation. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, plastering tools, and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is highly desirable for managing construction plans electronically. Knowledge of electrical systems installation or electrical experience is a plus. Outdoor work experience preferred for hardscaping projects in various weather conditions. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites; committed to maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Ability to interpret technical drawings related to plumbing systems or building material installation accurately. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
