About us Revision Solar LLC offers solar farm erosion control and grading services. We are seeking a Supervisor to join our growing team. Job Description Supervisor Solar Construction/Grading Technician Position Overview Responsible for managing their team, as well as driving their team to and from the site. Responsible for implementing erosion control measures, performing site grading operations, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations on utility scale solar sites. Completing end of day and site completion Reports. Follows instructions from the Superintendent on grading projects. Assists with any needs the project may have. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Erosion Control Install and maintain erosion control devices (silt fences, straw wattles, erosion control blankets) Monitor site conditions and adjust erosion control measures as needed Perform routine inspections of erosion control systems Document and report erosion control issues Implement storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) Grading Operations Operate grading equipment to achieve specified elevations and slopes (fine grading is a plus) Read and interpret grading plans and construction drawings Perform cut and fill operations Grade surfaces to proper drainage requirements Establish and verify grade stakes Calculate material quantities for earthwork operations Site Management Conduct site surveys and assessments Monitor soil conditions and stability Maintain detailed logs of work performed Coordinate with project managers and other trades Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Maintain clean and safe work environment
Equipment Operation Proficiency Required Heavy Equipment:
Tractor front end loader Skid steer loader Skid steer equipment (screener, soil conditioner, etc.) Backhoe Excavator Compactor/roller Front-end wheel loader Dump truck Surveying Equipment Laser level Transit level GPS grade control systems Survey stakes and strings Measuring wheels Grade rods Hand Tools and Small Equipment Plate compactors Hand tampers Shovels and rakes Measuring tapes String levels Marking paint and flags Required Skills and Qualifications Experience with leading a crew with multiple workers 2+ years experience in construction grading or related field MUST have a valid driver's license with insurance on their vehicle (CDL Preferred) Equipment operation certifications (as required by state/local regulations) Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations Understanding of erosion control best practices Ability to read and interpret construction plans Basic math skills for grade calculations Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions Additional Requirements Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to travel to various job sites Must pass drug screening and background check Clean driving record OSHA 10-hour certification (minimum) If you do not have OSHA 10 or above, the company will help you obtain certification.
