Duties Assist experienced solar technicians in installing, wiring, and commissioning solar inverters according to project specifications and electrical codes. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to photovoltaic system installation. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety equipment to perform construction tasks. Support troubleshooting electrical systems by using voltmeters, multimeters, and diagnostic tools to identify issues with low voltage and high voltage circuits. Follow electrical safety procedures in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and

NFPA 70E

standards to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the installation of electrical solar components, (battery & Inverter) conduit runs, wiring connections, and grounding systems for photovoltaic setups. Help maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to construction site safety protocols; contribute to efficient project progress through proactive teamwork. Requirements Prior experience working as a solar technician or in electrical construction is highly preferred. Knowledge of electrical blueprint reading, schematics, and blueprint interpretation related to photovoltaic systems. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and using testing equipment such as voltmeters and multimeters. Experience with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems within commercial or renewable energy settings. Ability to work safely on construction sites for extended periods. Construction experience is advantageous. Strong understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70E safety standards, and electrical safety procedures.
