Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Solar Installer and be a vital part of transforming the energy landscape! In this role, you'll work hands-on with solar panel systems, supporting the installation of renewable energy solutions on residential and small commercial sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in electrical work, construction, and roofing while contributing to sustainable energy initiatives. Responsibilities Installation of solar panels, mounting systems, and electrical components on rooftops and ground-mounted sites Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to secure equipment and fixtures Read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to support accurate installation processes Support roofing activities by preparing surfaces and ensuring proper attachment of solar equipment Handle low voltage wiring, fixture installation, and basic electrical connections following safety standards Follow all safety protocols related to high voltage, NEC (National Electrical Code), and electrical work standards Carry solar panels, digging, pushing and pulling heavy items required Skills Full understanding of high voltage and low voltage PV electrical systems Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Experience or familiarity with NEC guidelines and electrical safety procedures Construction site experience with hands-on use of hand tools and power tools Knowledge of roofing techniques relevant to solar panel installation Prior experience as a commercial electrician or in electrical construction is a plus Ability to interpret construction plans and support fixture installation projects Strong teamwork skills with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency Physical strength, agility and manual dexterity required. MUST be comfortable on a roof Work season from April 1-December 31st
Pay:
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
