Maintain Solar Fleet Leads crews of technicians to complete required duties Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the solar plant and substation equipment LOTO procedures for pad mount transformer switching. Troubleshooting warranty issues Diagnose and resolve faults on turbines as they relate to mechanical and electrical problems Interact with the customer, as directed by the manager Train and mentor employees as directed by the manager Daily, weekly, monthly reporting needs Perform compliance & administrative record maintenance such as EH&S Documentation, necessary paperwork (WO, timesheet, tool and PPE inventory, etc), and Pre-Job-Briefs. Assist management (as needed) with vendor contracts and activities, landowner agreements, and ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulationsBasic Qualifications:
3 - 8 years experience minimum High School/GED Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to get to and from worksite. Complete initial training atCompany Renewables Academy Preferred Qualifications:
Additional years of solar experience preferred High voltage and sub-station maintenance experience preferred Experience with multiple solar equipment supplier technology High voltage and sub-station maintenance experience Familiar with mechanical and electronic testing equipment (i.e. voltage testers, amp clamps, oscilloscopes, and various hand and power tools) Knowledge of heavy equipment for facility maintenance and working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements Willing to travel and assist other Company facilities when needed.
