Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have any related background in electrical work, construction, and installation processes. Not required as we can train the right person. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently in accordance with industry standards. We are a newer company with lots of room for growth and earnings. Responsibilities Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation locations. Work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts to complete installations. Conduct fixture installations and ensure proper connections for optimal system performance. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure functionality. Follow safety protocols while working at heights or in potentially hazardous environments. Requirements Experience reading schematics and blueprints related to electrical installations. Previous applications solar experience is preferred but not require. Knowledge of roofing techniques and safety measures is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively. Construction site experience is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
