This is a hands-on, fast-paced outdoor position involving the installation, maintenance, removal, and organization of commercial-grade holiday lighting. This is a seasonal, contract-pay position lasting approximately four months, from October through January. Paid training is provided. Responsibilities Install custom-fit Christmas lights, wreaths, garland, and other decorations on residential and commercial properties. Safely work from extension ladders, roofs, and lifts when required. Follow provided designs and instructions to create clean, professional displays. Cut, connect, test, and troubleshoot commercial-grade lighting. Complete service calls and replace or repair malfunctioning lights throughout the season. Remove displays in January and carefully label, organize, and store materials for future installations. Load and unload ladders, lighting materials, tools, and decorations. Follow all company safety procedures and protect customers' homes and landscaping. Work efficiently with the crew during a busy seasonal schedule. Qualifications Comfortable working outdoors and at heights. Physically capable of climbing ladders, walking on roofs, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, quality work. Basic mechanical, construction, roofing, or electrical experience is helpful but not required. Willingness to work longer hours during the busiest part of the Christmas season. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Schedule and Compensation Seasonal position running approximately October through January. Compensation is contract-based and tied to assigned seasonal work. Workload and hours may vary depending on weather, customer schedules, and seasonal demand. Paid hands-on training is provided. Seasonal performance bonuses may be awarded based on effort, reliability, attendance, quality of work, and overall contribution to the team.
