What You'll Do Install residential solar PV systems on rooftops and ground-mounted structures following engineered plans, NEC requirements, and local AHJ standards. Lay out and mount racking systems, set modules, and assist with conduit and wiring installation to ensure clean, professional results. Read and execute installation plans, including roof layouts, array orientation, and equipment placement for optimal performance. Evaluate job sites for structural integrity, roof conditions, and safety considerations prior to and during installation. Work alongside fellow installers and site leads to troubleshoot install challenges and maintain high workmanship standards. Capture installation photos, site notes, and as-built details to support inspections and project close-out. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site that reflects pride in your work. Follow all safety protocols, including fall protection and ladder safety, while meeting daily production goals. . What We're Looking For 1-2+ years of hands-on residential solar installation experience preferred (roofing or electrical experience also valued). Comfortable working on pitched roofs, using fall protection, ladders, and roof access equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using power tools, hand tools, and basic electrical testing equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks including climbing, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety, quality, and clean installs . Reliable, punctual, and able to travel to job sites as needed.
