Job Description

Duties:
  • Install various electronic systems with guidance from onsite manager on Transit Buses, Trains / Light Rail Vehicles, and School Buses.
  • Perform installations, including running cables, mounting / connecting equipment, drilling holes, electrical / comm tie-ins.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine installation requirements and ensure compliance with customer documentation.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation projects and ensure timely completion. Qualifications
  • Experience in 12/24v circuitry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints for installation purposes.
  • Knowledge of low voltage systems and their installation requirements.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in installation work.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete installation projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and find effective solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and system functionality.
NOTE:

This position requires physical endurance. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment while being on your feet for 8-10 hour shifts. If this is not something you can or are willing to do then this position will not work for you.

Note:

MECP Certification is a plus but not required at time of hire but will be required to obtain in the first 90 days of employment.

certificate would be a strong asset to this position.
