Job Description

NSC Staffing has immediate openings for Solar Technicians in Bastrop, TX. Solar Technician•

Travel Position Location:

SpaceX Facility 858 FM 1209, Bastrop, TX 78602

Start Date:

June 15, 2026

Projected End Date:

May 2027

Schedule:

Monday•Thursday 7:00 AM•5:30 PM 40 Hours per

Week Pay & Per Diem:

Prevailing Wage:

$36.50/hr

Base Pay Fringe:

$10.69/hr

Total Compensation:

$47.19/hr

Per Diem:

$120/day ($600/week based on a 40-hour work week)

Scope of Work:

Install, bend, and run conduit for solar electrical systems Perform DC and AC wiring for solar PV systems, including homeruns, feeders, branch circuits, combiner boxes, inverters, disconnects, and panels Terminate wiring and make electrical connections according to project drawings, NEC requirements, and site standards Assist with installation of solar PV electrical components Troubleshoot electrical issues involving solar PV systems, wiring, terminations, equipment, and power distribution

Required Experience:

Strong solar electrical experience Experience with solar PV installation and electrical systems Ability to read and follow electrical drawings and specifications

Required Certifications:

OSHA 10 Lift Certification

NFPA 70E

This is a long-term project at the SpaceX facility offering competitive prevailing wages, weekly per diem, and stable work through May 2027. #
