The Role & Your Impact As a Solar Installer, you are on the front lines of building Texas's clean energy infrastructure:
Site Ownership & Blueprint Execution:
Read, interpret, and execute site schematics, structural plans, and electrical layouts to assemble solar arrays.
Precision Structural Installation:
Measure, cut, assemble, and secure racking frameworks and solar modules to rooftops with absolute precision.
Customer Site Standards:
Represent Dynamic Ecohome professionally on site—answering homeowner questions with clarity, protecting their property, and maintaining pristine, clean job sites.
Code & Quality Assurance:
Perform current checks and assist with low-voltage electrical tie-ins while ensuring every roof penetration meets strict weatherproofing and engineering standards.
Crew Leadership & Mentorship:
Drive daily safety protocols, master new racking and electrical technology, and step up to mentor new installers as you advance through our leadership levels. Qualifications & Requirements We welcome high-ownership candidates ranging from motivated entry-level tradespeople ready to learn, to seasoned roof leads who want a real career trajectory: Solar Installer Level I (Entry-Level): Driven to learn the trade, build physical mastery on rooftops, and fast-track toward leadership. Solar Installer Level II (Advanced): Focused on complex arrays, system wiring, current checks, and quality execution.
Roof Lead:
Site oversight, inspector liaison, and structural quality manager.
Crew Lead:
Full site leadership, crew performance management, and regional operational excellence.
General Requirements:
Driver's License:
Active and valid driver's license with a safe driving record (Required).
Workplace Ownership:
Self-directed mindset with the drive to take initiative, solve physical challenges, and lead by example.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly on high-sloped, uneven surfaces, work in outdoor Texas weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity), and navigate rooftops comfortably using ladders and fall protection harnesses.
Craftsmanship & Safety Mindset:
Strong eye-hand coordination, balance, knowledge of basic construction principles, and strict compliance with safety gear (PPE, arc flash suits, gloves, face shields).
Customer & Team Focus:
Strong teamwork mindset and verbal communication skills when representing the company to customers and crew members on site. Total Rewards & Benefits Weekly Pay Period ($20.00 - $30.00 / hr with reliable direct deposit every week)
