Solar Installer Job Description We are seeking dedicated Solar Installers for a ground mount solar installation project in Moab, UT. This position will span 9-10 weeks and focuses on assembling, installing, and maintaining ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The role requires working outdoors, performing physical labor, and ensuring all installations adhere to safety, quality, and performance standards. Responsibilities Install racking, modules, wiring, and balance-of-system components for ground-mount solar arrays. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as post drivers, trenchers, and skid steers. Follow project plans, layout drawings, and electrical diagrams. Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety requirements and company quality standards. Assist with site preparation, trenching, conduit installation, and equipment staging. Troubleshoot basic installation issues and support commissioning activities. Work collaboratively with crew leads and team members to meet project timelines. Essential Skills Experience in solar installation, construction, or general labor. Must have fall protection certificate prior to starting. Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in solar, construction, or related trades preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Moab, UT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
