JOB DESCRIPTION

Electrical Lead Reports To:
Operations Manager Summary/Main Objective Oversee immediate crew to ensure quality and timely work as well as perform the electrical portion on projects. Essential Functions Job Duties Perform typical residential electrical Perform main panel upgrades (depending on skill level) Install monitoring systems Bend precise EMT conduit Calculate wire load Trouble shoot solar systems as needed Mount up all solar electrical equipment Configure solar breaker tie-in and solar strings Perform work per the solar plans Build accurate material lists for immediate crew's projects Gather, analyze, and submit construction photos for each job Must communicate effectively with PG&E and city inspectors Stand inspections as needed Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise immediate installation crew in the solar construction processes to ensure safe, proper, and effective procedures are being followed Supervise immediate crew's solar construction on the roof to ensure quality and timely work is being achieved Physical & Work Environment Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. Work in small spaces like attics Extreme weather conditions Not fear heights or steep roofs Be comfortable traveling Be comfortable working ten to twelve hour days Climb ladders often Stand for long periods of timeAdditional Requirements:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to manage crew(s) professionally Must have knowledge of electrical requirements and codes to be able to determine accuracy on solar plans. Must have great organizational, communication, time management, problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented skills. Must be reliable and punctual Knowledge of NEC electrical code is a plus Knowledge of the ins and outs of solar installation processes required Some residential electrical /solar electrical DC/AC is a plus Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record Electrical certificate is a plus 3 years of experience as a lead OSHA 10 knowledge is a plus Bilingual preferred, but not requiredJob Type:
Full-time Pay:
