In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw granite materials into beautiful, high-quality countertops that enhance our clients' spaces. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure precise fabrication and flawless installation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship, technical skills, and dedication to excellence in the construction and remodeling industry. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate granite countertops according to specifications. Measure dimensions on-site and in the shop using tape measures and other hand tools to ensure precise cuts and fitting. Cut, shape, polish, and finish granite slabs utilizing power tools, tile masonry techniques, and hand tools to achieve desired aesthetics. Install countertops securely on cabinets or designated surfaces while following blueprint specifications and safety standards. Perform surface preparation tasks such as caulking, sealing, plastering, stucco application, and gutter installation as needed for seamless integration. Conduct quality inspections during fabrication and installation processes to maintain high standards of craftsmanship. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, materials, and debris while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on building material installation, tile laying, or remodeling projects. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, estimating techniques, and inspection procedures. Proficiency with Bluebeam software for reviewing plans and technical drawings is highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and measuring devices such as tape measures for accurate work. Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, fixture installation, flooring installation, and gutter work is a plus. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed blueprints or construction plans. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Construction experience including framing, plastering, caulking, stucco application, or similar trades is preferred.
