We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a Production Assistant for a manufacturing company in La Verne.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Assist with production operations including sandblasting, fabrication, and finishing of granite products. Support warehouse operations including material handling, organization, and inventory control. Perform delivery driving and assist with loading/unloading materials safely and efficiently. Assist with installation of granite products at customer locations. Operate forklifts and general warehouse/production equipment as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform occasional facility and equipment maintenance tasks. Follow all company safety procedures and production standards. Work collaboratively with team members and management to meet production deadlines. Ability to work overtime if needed. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Warehouse or production experience preferred. Fabrication and mechanical experience preferred. Forklift experience required. Valid Driver's License and clean DMV report required. Must be dependable, organized, and have strong communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to lift/push/pull 60lbs.

Monday—Friday 7:30am—4:00pm

Pay Rate:

$18-21/hr (Depending on experience)
