In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing a variety of flooring and wall tiles across residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your expertise in handling diverse building materials and tools will ensure high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while contributing to beautiful, durable surfaces in a fast-paced environment. Duties Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute tile installation projects. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate adhesives or mortar for optimal tile adhesion. Install various types of flooring including epoxy floors, vinyl, hardwood, carpet, and tile with precision and attention to detail. Execute floor refinishing tasks such as buffing, sealing, and water damage restoration to restore surfaces to their original condition. Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and lay tiles according to project specifications. Perform caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and cabinet installation as part of comprehensive building material installation. Maintain strict adherence to construction site safety protocols and building installation safety compliance standards. Experience Extensive hands-on experience in tile laying, hardwood floor installation, epoxy floor application, and flooring installation techniques. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans for accurate project execution. Knowledge of water damage restoration processes and floor care practices to ensure longevity of installed surfaces. Prior work in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely for various building tasks including caulking, buffing, concrete finishing, and carpentry. Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials while maintaining safety standards on construction sites.
