Responsibilities Professionally install flooring according to company and industry standards Install tile, hardwood, LVP, laminate, and/or carpet based on experience Perform proper subfloor and surface preparation Install showers and waterproofing systems when applicable Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Protect customers' homes and property during installation Communicate professionally with customers and project managers Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Properly maintain company-provided tools and vehicles Qualifications Previous professional flooring installation experience is required Experience with one or more of the following: tile, hardwood, LVP, laminate, or carpet Valid driver's license Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must successfully pass a background screening Ability to safely operate a company vehicle Ability to lift and carry flooring materials and equipment Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Professional appearance and communication Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction Preferred Qualifications Experience installing multiple flooring types Tile shower installation experience Waterproofing experience Experience with stairs, baseboards, and trim Knowledge of professional flooring installation standards Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field Why Southpaw Floors?
