Job Description
Are you a motivated, hands-on individual who enjoys physical, project-based work in a changing environment? Wildlife Works LLC is hiring Wildlife Exclusion Technicians to join our team in Ocala, FL. This position is primarily construction- and exclusion-based, focusing on sealing structures, installing exclusion devices, and performing repair work to prevent wildlife entry. While this role operates within the wildlife management field, direct engagement with wildlife is minimal and largely limited to rodent trapping and monitoring exclusion devices. Candidates with construction, carpentry, roofing, or general trade experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who email resumes directly to admin@wildlifeworksllc.com Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Perform wildlife exclusion and structural repairs, including sealing entry points and installing one-way doors Conduct rodent trapping and exclusion monitoring (limited direct wildlife contact) Use hand and power tools for construction, repair, and installation tasks Work on ladders, rooftops, and within attic or crawl spaces Lift, move, and transport materials and equipment (50-70 lbs) Identify basic wildlife sign to inform exclusion strategies Follow Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission regulations Arrive on job sites within scheduled timeframes Work collaboratively with team members while also completing tasks independently Follow direction, troubleshoot issues, and problem-solve in the field Provide a personal vehicle for travel to and from the shop (company vehicles provided for daily job operations)
