Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Granite Countertop Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and installing high-quality granite countertops in residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets precise specifications, adheres to safety standards, and exceeds customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a variety of tools and techniques, and contribute to transforming spaces with beautiful, durable surfaces. Responsibilities Measure and interpret blueprint specifications to determine the correct dimensions and layout for granite countertops. Prepare the work area by ensuring proper site setup, including safety precautions and material staging. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to cut, shape, and polish granite slabs with precision. Install countertops securely using appropriate fastening methods while ensuring alignment and levelness. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate seamless installation processes. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to verify adherence to design plans and safety standards. Maintain a clean work environment by managing debris, tools, and materials efficiently throughout each project. Requirements Proven experience in tile masonry, cabinetry installation, or related construction fields with a focus on building material installation. Proficiency with measuring tools such as tape measures and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints. Familiarity with construction management software like Bluebeam is a plus. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively for cutting, grinding, and polishing stone surfaces. Knowledge of construction plans, remodeling processes, and technical specifications related to fixture installation. Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction during project handovers. Physical capability to lift heavy materials using ladders or scaffolding safely; experience with ladder use is essential. Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, or related trades is advantageous but not mandatory.
