Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer for Granite Countertops to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of high-quality granite countertops in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets our rigorous standards for craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse remodeling projects, utilizing your technical skills and construction knowledge to create beautiful, durable surfaces that enhance our clients' spaces. Duties Measure and interpret dimensional measurements accurately to ensure proper fit of granite countertops according to blueprints and construction plans Prepare work areas by using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding to facilitate installation processes Cut, shape, and polish granite slabs using specialized tile masonry and stone cutting tools to meet project specifications Install countertops securely following blueprint specifications, including fixture installation, caulking, and sealing for a finished look Collaborate with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and masonry teams to coordinate seamless integration of countertops with other building components Inspect installed surfaces for quality control, ensuring adherence to safety standards and construction inspection protocols Maintain detailed records of measurements, materials used, and work progress throughout each project Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on building material installation such as tile laying, flooring installation, or masonry work Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans is essential Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, tape measure proficiency, and ladder use in a construction environment Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, plastering, stucco application, gutter installation or fixture installation is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Experience in remodeling projects or working within construction management or estimating roles is advantageous Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols and conduct construction inspection procedures confidently Join us in delivering exceptional craftsmanship on every project!
