Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and dependable Hardscape & Paver Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with hardscaping, paver installation, and retaining walls , along with some landscaping experience. This position involves installing and repairing various types of pavers, constructing retaining walls, performing site preparation, and assisting with other landscaping projects. Duties & Responsibilities Install pavers for driveways, patios, walkways, pool areas, and other hardscape projects according to project specifications. Install and construct retaining walls using proper techniques and materials. Perform site preparation, including excavation, grading, leveling, base preparation, and concrete forming as needed. Properly measure, cut, shape, and lay pavers using appropriate hand tools and power tools. Ensure proper alignment, grading, drainage, spacing, and overall appearance of completed hardscape projects. Perform quality inspections of completed work to ensure durability, functionality, and professional appearance . Complete projects efficiently while following company safety procedures and project specifications. Maintain clean and organized job sites by properly managing debris, materials, tools, and equipment. Properly care for and maintain company tools and equipment. Provide professional and courteous customer service while working at customer properties. Address customer questions or concerns professionally and notify management when necessary. Assist with training other employees or apprentices in proper installation techniques and safety practices. Perform other hardscape and landscaping duties as assigned. Other Responsibilities The Hardscape & Paver Installer will also assist with various landscaping projects, including: Sod installation Mulching Rock installation Plant installation and removal Tree services, including trimming and pruning Landscape installations Other general landscaping duties as needed Knowledge of irrigation installation and repairs is beneficial and a willingness to learn irrigation is a plus.
