Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Tile Crew member, where you'll play a vital role in transforming spaces through expert tile installation and finishing. Your hands-on expertise will help us build beautiful, functional environments that stand the test of time. Duties Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or waterproofing materials. Lay tiles accurately according to schematics, blueprints, and project plans, ensuring precise alignment and spacing. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install tiles efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Perform caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation to achieve seamless finishes around edges and fixtures. Assist with restoration projects involving water damage repair, floor care, and surface refinishing to restore spaces to their original condition. Read schematics and blueprints to interpret project requirements accurately and execute tasks accordingly. Support other construction activities such as cabinetry installation, painting, concrete finishing, remodeling, and buffing as needed. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on flooring installation and tile laying. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to tile projects. Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, saws, and caulking guns; experience with power tools is essential. Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to tile work and renovation projects. Ability to work safely on construction sites while adhering to OSHA standards and safety guidelines. Strong carpentry skills including trim carpentry and fixture installation; experience in restoration industry is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges. Prior experience in water damage restoration or floor care enhances your suitability for this role.
