Stone Artisans Ltd. is looking for a motivated, dependable Granite & Stone Installation Team Member to join our growing team in the Indianapolis area. We are a custom stone fabrication and installation company specializing in granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, natural stone, and porcelain slabs. Our work ranges from high-end residential kitchens and bathrooms to custom commercial projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with their hands, and understands that quality craftsmanship and a great customer experience go hand in hand.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist with the installation of granite, quartz, quartzite, marble, porcelain and other natural stone products Safely handle, carry and position large and heavy stone slabs Assist with setting, leveling, securing and finishing countertops Perform jobsite preparation and cleanup Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Assist with sinks, backsplashes, seams, edges and other installation details Protect customers' homes, cabinetry, flooring and surrounding surfaces during installation Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, designers and other members of the project team Follow installation drawings, job specifications and company procedures Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment Work as part of a team to complete installations accurately and on schedule Represent Stone Artisans professionally at every jobsite

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Preferred:

Previous countertop, stone, tile, cabinet, finish carpentry, construction or remodeling experience Experience using hand and power tools Ability to read measurements and basic drawings Experience working with large or fragile materials Strong attention to detail Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work safely around heavy materials and equipment We will consider the right candidate without countertop experience. Construction experience, mechanical ability, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are highly valued.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active skilled-trade position.

Candidates must be able to:

Safely lift and maneuver heavy materials with a team Work on your feet throughout the workday Bend, kneel, reach and work in a variety of positions Work inside and outside at residential and commercial jobsites Safely operate and work around installation tools and equipment Follow proper lifting and material-handling procedures

COMPENSATION

$25-$35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Experienced stone countertop installers with strong fabrication and installation skills may qualify for compensation at the upper end of the range.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
