Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Renovation Technician to join our team and bring expert craftsmanship to a variety of renovation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive remodeling and restoration tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining safety standards on-site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from minor repairs to large-scale renovations, utilizing your technical expertise and hands-on skills to transform spaces efficiently and effectively. Duties Perform drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and finishing to achieve smooth, durable surfaces. Install and repair flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, doors, windows, and trim carpentry components with precision. Conduct electrical work including wiring, fixture installation, schematic interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Execute plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, fixture installation, and leak repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for demolition, concrete forming/finishing, masonry work, and site preparation. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction activities and ensure project specifications are met. Manage construction site activities including inspection, quality control, safety compliance, and coordination with team members. Assist in construction estimating by assessing project scope and material requirements for accurate budgeting. Perform restoration work on existing structures including painting, caulking, glazing, tile laying, and masonry repairs. Fabricate custom components as needed for specific renovation requirements using carpentry or welding techniques. Ensure all work aligns with building codes and client expectations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Skills Extensive experience with construction management principles and site supervision. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating tools such as Bluebeam. Strong knowledge of building finishing techniques including drywall installation, painting, flooring installation, and trim carpentry. Skilled in electrical work including wiring diagrams and fixture installation; electrical experience is essential. Hands-on expertise with plumbing systems repair/replacement and fixture installation. Ability to operate power tools (e.g., saws, drills), heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts), and fabrication machinery safely. Familiarity with masonry techniques such as concrete forming/finishing and brickwork; experience with roofing is a plus. Knowledge of restoration processes including plastering, stucco application, caulking, glazing, tile laying, and hardscape work. Strong attention to detail in construction inspection to ensure quality standards are met throughout each project phase.
