Job Description
Job Overview We are a fabricator of Granite and Quartz countertops for homes. Position is 7am- 4pm. We are looking for someone who can wear many hats but mostly will be doing installing countertops and polishing edges.. Experience is not necessary however a solid work history and work ethic are essential. We do not hire smokers. Responsibilities- Countertop installation and polishing experience is not required, we will train. Attention to detail. Be organized and follow all procedures as a team. Punctual and dependable. Strong and positive work ethic. Desire to "do things right the first time." Ability to read a tape measure and understand dimensions. Knowledge of mathematics including fractions and decimals. Ability to effectively work and communicate with fellow employees Ability to operate hand tools and machinery is essential. Self-starter and can work independently or within a team Must have a valid driver's license. Must have strong communication skills and great customer service Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 100 lbs. Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Ability to bend, twist and stoop. Must take direction and constructive criticism well. Must be energetic, timely, work alongside others, and be willing to learn the process. Must have a professional demeanor and appearance Grand Countertops offers an excellent work environment, great opportunity for growth and a starting salary of $22.00 per hour with much potential for advancement.
