Job description
POSITION PURPOSE
The Flagpole Installer position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of flagpole installation and preparation. This is a physically demanding job with mostly outdoor work all year round.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform installation and servicing of flagpoles, including concrete footings Assist in the shop with preparing flagpoles for installation and shipping Other miscellaneous warehouse and field duties as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS
The candidate must be a motivated self starter that is organized and ready to learn. Must work effectively as part of a team and have a positive attitude. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions consistently and accurately Flagpole experience is not required but candidate must have a construction background and mechanical problem solving ability. Must be able to work from high reach equipment if required. Must be able to dig holes and mix bagged concrete for flagpole footings. Must be have experience with all basic hand and power tools required in construction and be able to read and use a tape measure. Candidate must be in good physical condition and be able to lift 80# unassisted. Have valid driver's license (not CDL) Must be able to pass background and drug tests Experience towing a trailer with a pickup truck is a must Tractor and backhoe operation is a plus
SCHEDULE
Full Time, Monday thru Friday, between 6:00AM and 4:00 PM (8 hr shift will start between 6:00 am and 7:30 am depending on work required that day)
