Company Overview Arcadia GlassHouse is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality aluminum greenhouses and greenhouse accessories. We are seeking additional greenhouse installers to join our growing team. Experience in sunrooms, windows, curtainwalls or construction is preferred. Job Summary We are seeking experienced, reliable, and safety-minded Greenhouse Installers to join our in-house installation crew. This hands-on role involves traveling to build and install beautiful, custom, and standard Arcadia greenhouses from the ground up. Expect approximately 35% travel nationwide (typically weekly or bi-weekly assignments with overnight stays), balanced with time at our Madison, OH facility for tool/vehicle maintenance, greenhouse prep, and occasional local installs. If you thrive on physical fieldwork, teamwork, attention to detail, and the satisfaction of transforming a site into a stunning, functional greenhouse, this is the opportunity for you. The greenhouse installer position is a permanent, full-time role. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer sites nationwide to assemble and install Arcadia greenhouses, including aluminum-framed structures, tempered glass or polycarbonate panels, ridge systems, end walls, doors, vents, gutters, and custom architectural features. Perform precise on-site assembly per Arcadia's standard drawings and details. Install glazing systems, ventilation, shading, and other components to ensure airtight, energy-efficient performance. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct quality inspections, make field adjustments, and resolve minor issues to deliver flawless results. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in top condition. Adhere strictly to safety standards (OSHA, company protocols) and wear required PPE in all weather conditions. Collaborate effectively with crew members and occasionally interact with customers to ensure satisfaction. Assist in other production and operations tasks as necessary. Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience in greenhouse installation, metal/aluminum building erection, conservatory/sunroom construction, carpentry, or similar precision fieldwork (Arcadia or comparable high-end greenhouse experience strongly preferred). Valid driver's license with clean driving record (ability to drive company vehicles long distances). Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% of the time, including multi-day trips, overnight stays, and occasional weekends.
Physically capable of demanding labor:
regularly lift 50-75+ lbs., work at heights on ladders/scaffolding, stand/walk for long periods, and perform outdoor work in varying weather. Strong attention to detail, blueprint reading skills, and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Reliable team player with good communication and a positive, professional attitude. Preferred Qualifications Experience with glass glazing, polycarbonate installation, or architectural metal framing. Familiarity with greenhouse systems or conservatory builds.
